She’s been the talk of the town for years. Her name turns up constantly in WhatsApp groups, in health warnings, in reasons why you probably shouldn’t have gone in the water last August. And now, she’s ready to tell her side of the story.

We’re thrilled to share the trailer for E. coli’s Margate Tour — a microcosmic deep dive into hidden water histories, following E. coli along the Margate coastline. This is the sister show to our Liverpool Cholera Audio Tour.
Last summer, some of you walked with us along the beaches of Margate. We loved every encounter. Now we’re accompanying you again, in audio form, so that you can walk alongside us, whether you’re in town or following along from your sofa, using your imagination.
The tour is composed of four acts, beginning at the Coastal Shelter by Bugsy’s Bowling on Ethelbert Crescent and ending at the Café at Palm Bay. At a leisurely pace, it takes about an hour. Along the way there are red flags, love notes, a surprise call from Cholera, and a big decision to make.
Episodes will drop every Friday for four weeks. Subscribe now so you don’t miss a thing!
